Summary

This full-time position manages and maintains Webpipe.net’s Linux servers and all of the applications/services that run on them including Apache, MySQL, Qmail, Vpopmail, MailScanner, SpamAssassin, Postfix, Sendmail, Nagios, Cacti, Linux-VServer, BIND, PowerDNS, IPTables, RADIUS, etc. Monitors system performance / health, investigates and troubleshoots problems. Works collaboratively with other IT personnel, technical resources and customers.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Linux server system administration, manage DNS, Mail and Web servers
• Maintain point-to-point customer wireless network
• Develops project requirements and recommends solutions
• Configure system and network parameters.
• Monitor system stability and performance.
• Help develop tools to monitor and maintain systems.
• Ensure 24x7 operation.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• Minimum 4 years Linux system administration experience

Wireless Installer - Apply Now

Summary

Provide superior support and installation of wireless hardware on customer's homes and businesses. Communicate with Webpipe customers for proper placement of equipment, as well as network installation and configuration within the residence/business. Ability to work at varying heights and steep roofs required.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Installation of wireless radios and antennas.
• Installation of interior networks.
• Respond to support calls for equipment repairs.
• Set up and establish new customer accounts, including dial-up, DSL, and Wireless. Answer questions about technical issues, billing, and pricing.
• Answer customer support calls and e-mails.
• Work with others within the company to ensure excellent customer service at all times.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• Experience with exterior mounting and installations.
• Experience with interior network installations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills. (experience required)
• Understanding of computer networking. Experience with configuring LANS and WLANS. Hands-on experience with broadband wireless 802.11a/b/g technologies is a plus.
